Local businesses, paper and progress group unite

The Circular Head Chronicle and Tarkine Coast Progress Group have joined forces with Saputo Dairy Australia to develop an inclusive Christmas promotion that benefits both businesses and shoppers alike.

A total of 25 businesses from the region are participating with more than $2,000 worth of prize money, generously donated by Saputo, to go to three lucky shoppers and five creative colour-inners.

After what has been one of the most challenging years for retailers in recent history there has never been a more important time to carefully consider where you spend your money, with plenty of excellent options for buying presents available right on our doorsteps here in north west Tasmania.

To enter, all customers need to do is spend any amount at any participating business between now and December 16, with no cap on the amount of entries per person across each store.

The winner will be drawn on December 18 and announced in the December 23 edition of the Chronicle, with the number one prize winner taking out a massive $1000 in vouchers to spend at participating stores.

There are also two individual prizes of $500 up for grabs.

Got kids who are keen to be involved? Tell them to sharpen their pencils!

There are a total of five $50 prizes available as part of Circular Head’s most competitive colouring-in competition yet, with entries available at participating businesses.

Once completed, fill out the entry form and drop it in to the Chronicle office on 56 Goldie Street or to a participating business to be displayed in participating storefronts.

Entries are unlimited, but only one entry form per child can be issued per purchase.

Saputo Dairy Australia’s Susan Wallace, Melissa Finlayson and Dale Poke with Tarkine Coast Progress Group’s Jane Arnold (second from left) are hoping this year’s shop local Christmas promotion will help shoppers to reconsider how they spend their money this festive season.
