Fish farm fear fires up

Concerned community members packed out the walls of the Stanley Town Hall to hear the thoughts of locals and experts in the field alike on Sunday afternoon at a meeting hosted by NWTAS for clean oceans.

Peter George, of the Tasmanian Alliance for Marine Protection, was the first to speak. He shared his thoughts and shared the intentions of the TAMP getting involved with the group.

“Our intention was that we would help communities have their voices heard in parliament, in the industries and with decision makers,” he said.
