Hoe Downs for Country Towns arrived at the Irishtown Community Centre for an important boot scoot last week, coinciding with World Mental Health Week. The event was in support of Rural Alive & Well (RAW), with participants encouraged to come along and bust a move, and kick their heels up, assisting to build mentally healthy and resilient rural communities, to reduce the prevalence of suicide in ages 14 and up.
