The Circular Head Colts have been triumphant in their competition return, as they played their first game of the summer on Sunday. The side took on the Wynyard Cox U12s in town and were able to chase down the allotted total of 86 in 20 overs. It was a group effort with the bat and ball, Jhett House (9) the top scorer, and Louis Cotter (2/4) and Albie Best (2/1) both impressing with the ball in hand.

The Colts players also compete in the Blackleys Pipelines and Irrigation Hurricanes Junior League school competition against fellow Wynyard district schools, which includes Boat Harbour Primary, Table Cape Primary, Yolla District, St Brigid's Catholic and Somerset Primary schools.

The Circular Head schools will combine to compete in the competition, which was awarded second place in last season’s Cricket Australia Junior Initiative Awards.
