CHFA teams secure Reserves coaches

Teams in the Circular Head Football Association have quietly been tinkering away over the holiday period assembling the final pieces of their coaching puzzles. Redpa have announced the re-signing of Reserves coach Dan Popowski for season 2023. Popowski was at the helm last season and will look to continue building the Redlegs brand. The Scotchtown Tigers however, continue to make noise across the local football landscape, announcing club favourites Kieren Baldock and Mitchell ‘Diddle’ Poke as co-coaches of their Reserves side for the upcoming season. The Tigers were unable to field a Reserves team in 2022 but have taken great strides during the off season. Baldock’s resume speaks for itself and is a Life Member of the football club, as well as being a Senior and U17 Best and Fairest winner and claiming the U17 Association Best and Fairest in 2011. He has collected several other club awards as well as having played more than 150 games. “I’m just keen to be back representing the beautiful club that we are,” Baldock said.

“After the club struggled to field a Reserves side last year, our goal is to fill all sides in all grades and win some games.

“Our other main goal is to get our old Life Members back and involved in the club to get back the awesome culture we have and love.”
