The 2023 Smithton Bowl has been a roaring success, with a record amount of competitors taking to the green.

“We had to ballot out players (12) for the first time in 20-30 years,” Smithton Golf Club representative, Matthew Sheehan said.

“We can only have 120 in the actual Bowl just for the amount of daylight left. By the time the Monday afternoon rolls around and the A Grade players are playing, there isn’t a lot of time left.”
