The sun was shining at the Circular Head Community Connections Day on Sunday over at West Esplanade, with families coming out in force to enjoy great food, weather and entertainment, from the wide range of cultures and ethnic backgrounds that reside right here in Circular Head. Sub-continental cuisine from India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka was on offer, alongside kelp-basket making from CHAC, facepainting, Henna tattoos by Hannah Bruce, and live music from Jeff Power and David Buchanan, as well as the Burnie School of Irish Dance. Soroptimist International of Circular Head was on hand to entertain the kids whilst the Vinnies Food Van and Libraries Tasmania were also present at the wonderful event, organised by the Circular Head Council.
