Stanley has once again been recognised as the top Tasmanian Tiny Tourism Town, as well as the People’s Choice Tourism Town, in the 2023 Tourism Industry Council Tasmania’s (TICT) Top Tourism Town Awards.

62 per cent of voters chose Stanley as the destination of choice for populations under 1,500 in the awards from an estimated 3000 respondents.

Circular Head Tourism Association Vice President, Kerry Houston, accepted the awards at Parliament House in Hobart this week.

“We were trying to get a point of difference in our entry, and weave that into the editorial and the itinerary,” Mrs Houston said.

“We wanted to highlight that if you are coming across in your RV, this is great place to come and explore the whole region.”
