The Smithton Saints Mens U22s Basketball side have suffered their first loss in the first match of their season, losing to Wynyard by just three points. The new-look team was led by new captain Jett Grey who scored 23 points. The Womens side took the first win of their season due to a forfeit by Wynyard.
