This time 12 months ago the Scotchtown Tigers were contemplating their future in the Tasmanian Football landscape, as the Redpa Redlegs were relishing in more grand final success and stamped themselves as current day powerhouse in the Circular Head Football Association (CHFA).

This weekend will mark the 124th local Grand Final as the Redlegs and Tigers go head-to-head, as both teams have overcome hurdles throughout their 2023 campaign. A midseason form slump did not deter Redpa's ambition to claim back-to-back premierships, as Scotchtown have come from the bottom of the ladder to secure their Grand Final birth in one of the closest seasons in recent memory.
