The Greenham Circular Head Junior Saints highly anticipated re-entry into the North West Junior Football League has been met with great fanfare as the teams made the long journey to Devonport for their opening round encounters. Teams departed on their Wells Waggons mode of transport, departing Smithton at 7.30am, as the U12 Boys side kicked things off with a gallant 25-point victory over the Magpies, 5.10.40-2.3.15.
Enthusiastic coach and junior club President, Rob Coates, said, “We were the big unknown having four first gamers and a whole new team but the boys didn’t disappoint."
