In a significant announcement for the Marist Regional College community, Circular Head residents Xander Power and Elizabeth Ettlin have been appointed as Co-Captain and Vice Co-Captain for the upcoming school year. Their election follows their recent selection to the 2025 Student Representative Council (SRC), which comprises twelve Year 12 students.

Looking ahead, Xander and Elizabeth are particularly enthusiastic about introducing their own initiatives in the coming year, with a strong emphasis on mentoring younger students. “We both feel fortunate to become role models for the rest of the student body, especially our younger peers from Circular Head, who will hopefully see that living here shouldn’t prevent you from making the most of leadership opportunities,” they concluded.
