Midland Tractors is Open for Business

Midland Tractors is Open for Business

Midland Tractors at the Stanley turnoff is now open for business.  A long-awaited opening, the team celebrated on Friday October 11 with an Open Day.

With the nearest branch in Latrobe, the team are excited to service the Circular Head and Wynyard-Waratah area.

Leading up to the open day, the yard has been filling up with a variety of agricultural equipment and mowers.

Known primarily as the John Deere authorised dealers, Midland Tractors in Stanley have the range covered.  From tractors and ride-ons outside to an impressive toy and apparel range inside, if you’re a John Deere fan, you will not be disappointed.

With the Fergy and Fendt Country billboard directly opposite the John Deere dealer sign, Phil King, the parts technician, optimistically laughs about the direct competition.

“We’re in a great spot here, even with the signs across the road.  Competition is healthy.”

Midland Tractors also has a range of used farm equipment and implements for sale.  Luke Davis, Midland Tractors diesel technician, provides full maintenance services on all brands of used tractors and equipment.

You will also find Segway utility vehicles here as well as Silvan sprayers.

Lisa Poke is the parts and sales representative and has been in the industry for many years.  She is optimistic about Midland Tractor’s presence here in Stanley.

“We’ve sold four mowers just this week to Circular Head residents.  We can deliver them too.”

The team are evidently proud of what they can bring to the area and with what they have created already. With an impressive sales area, yard and huge workshop, there is much positivity about the future for Midland Tractors in Stanley.
