The Tasmania Fire Service proudly opened the new Marrawah Fire Station on Saturday, October 19, 2024, marking a significant milestone for local emergency services.

Features of the station will include the accommodation of five vehicles, facilities for contemporary decontamination and will better support the 24 active firefighters such as local legends Shane Hine and Anthony Grey based at Marrawah.
